\n\nAbout the Role
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Brenham is seeking a skilled and autonomous Physician Assistant – OBGYN to join our team. This is a primarily GYN-focused role with the opportunity to see some antepartum patients, endometrial biopsies, IUDs, Nexplanon, and I&Ds. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience and be comfortable working independently in a busy outpatient setting. This position offers a balanced work-life schedule with Monday through Friday hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM—no nights, weekends, or call required.
Key Responsibilities
\n\n\nProvide comprehensive care in the field of Gynecology, with occasional antepartum care
\n\n\nConduct patient evaluations, assessments, and follow-ups
\n\n\nPerform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician
\n\n\nCollaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality patient care
\n\n\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
\n\n\nOffer health education and counseling to patients as needed
\n\n\n\nPreferred Requirements
\n\n\nExperience: 3+ years of experience in OBGYN, preferably with a focus on GYN and ultrasounds
\n\n\nLicensing: Must be a licensed Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of Texas
\n\n\nSkills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work autonomously
\n\n\nWork Environment: Outpatient care, with no call or weekend shifts
\n\n\n\nSchedule
