Key Responsibilities:

Perform fluoroscopically guided arthrogram injections of major joints (shoulder, hip, knee, etc.) under the supervision of a orthopedic surgeon and/or radiologist.Prepare and administer contrast agents and ensure proper sterile technique.Obtain informed consent and explain procedures to patients.Conduct pre- and post-procedure assessments, including documentation and follow-up care.Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to ensure safe and efficient workflow.Maintain accurate procedure documentation in the EMR and PACS systems.Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and maintain fluoroscopy certification.

Administrative Responsibilities

Provide supporting documentation and coding information for all health care services provided.Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested.Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.Protect patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA Privacy Regulations. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant programCurrent and active licenses and certificationsExcellent customer service skillsDemonstrated conflict management skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills with great attention to detailJoint injection experience preferred
