Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Medicine to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health.  South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy.

Opportunity Details:

Attend to patients in the Emergency Room awaiting beds in the Medicine Inpatient Units. Liaise with Emergency Medicine and Medicine Department staff. Perform history and physical examinations, Order diagnostic tests based on assessments, develop treatment plans and prescribe drugs and other therapies as needed. Consult with supervising medical provider when appropriate.
