Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health.  South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy.

Opportunity Details:

Dedicated hours with flexibility for coverage. New Grads Welcome! Performing history and physical examinations. Ordering diagnostic tests based on assessments. Developing treatment plans, prescribing drugs, and other therapies, as needed. Making referrals, as necessary. Consulting with supervising medical provider, when appropriate. Counseling patients and families regarding care. Reviewing and responding to referrals from within and outside the clinic. Precept and evaluate physician assistant students rotating through the Emergency Department.
