Physical Therapy Assistant - PACE/Elderplace

$3,000 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Provides treatment of neurological, orthopedic, and muscular disorders in accordance with treatment plan established by Physical Therapist to provide efficient, effective physical therapy to referred geriatric participants. Utilizes artificial aids such as prosthetic devices, therapeutic exercise techniques, emotional support and educational training to restore mobility and function to participants, reduce pain, and promote healing. Provides home care coordination.

Required qualifications:

Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapist Association.National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.Washington Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire - if practicing within this state.Oregon Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire - if practicing within this state.

Preferred qualifications:

1 year Experience in the area of physical therapy.
