Location:This is a field position – we do service all throughout Western Massachusetts.
Our current need is Longmeadow, Springfield, Agawam, West Springfield, Holyoke, Westfield, Southwick, The Hamptons

Job Responsibilities: Implements treatment plan initiated by the Physical Therapist and demonstrates clinical competency with patient care. To assist the Registered Physical Therapist in treatment programs initiated and supervised by the Registered Physical Therapist. To perform selected physical therapy interventions. To provide patient teaching as indicated. To participate in establishing appropriate rehabilitation plan, under the direction and supervision of the physical therapist. To maintain standards of clinical practice pursuant to MA state Board of Allied Health and APTA guidelines. Participates in case conference with Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and goals, communicates with other members of the interdisciplinary team. To participate in staff conference regarding Physical Therapy program. Completes documentation and submits paperwork in accordance with agency guidelines. Observe record and report to supervisor the patient condition, reaction and response related to treatment. Maintain clinical records in accordance with agency policies. Assume additional duties as required. Adhere to system and departmental compliance policies, and applicable laws and regulations. Attend and participate in staff meetings as assigned. Attend orientation, in -service, staff and any other departmental, agency or system wide programs/meetings as requested. Preferred Work Experience: Minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred Skills and Competencies: Excellent judgment and communication skills Able to work independently with attention to detail General office environment Daily travel to patient homes
