All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Monday - Friday 2pm - 7pm **Shift** : Days **Location:** 8701 MAITLAND SUMMIT BOULEVARD, Orlando, 32810 **The community you'll be caring for:** When you join our team of over 45 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew. We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealths mission in the communities we serve. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will assist clinic professionals and staff daily, serving the needs of our patients in an outpatient setting. You will ensure treatment areas are clean, safe and prepared for patients. You will assist patients as needed in scheduling future appointments in the clinic. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in an outpatient rehab setting for individuals interested in a therapy career. **The role you'll contribute:** Conducts occupational therapy under the supervision of an occupational therapist. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Implements a treatment plan of care established by an Occupational Therapist utilizing Practice Standards and recommended techniques, insurance guidelines and patients needs. + Monitors patient response and progress to treatment and communicates with the Occupational Therapist to modify treatment plan as appropriate + Documents and Charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology, following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department /hospital policy and procedures + Educates patients, family members, and caregivers about identified needs and including discharge recommendations Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:** + High School Grad or Equiv **Preferred Qualfication** * Pursuing a career or education in Physical Therapy *BLS certication This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
