We are opening the application window for our 2026 Sports Resident position. This is a full-time 12-month position located at The Star in Frisco, TX. Our resident is guided through a didactic and live mentorship program alongside several of our expert sports clinicians while getting the experience of treating high level high school, collegiate and professional athletes. Upon completion of the residency program, the resident will be fully prepared to sit for and pass the Sports Certification Specialty exam
Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessmentPatient Case Load Average: 8 patients a dayTimely and accurate documentation using Therapy SourceInterpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reportsEnsuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accuratelyPromoting continuous quality improvementInstructing and counseling patients/families as needed Qualifications Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
