Physical Therapist - Outpatient

McKinney-Eldorado is looking for an energetic and creative sports physical therapist to join our team. This is a full-time position that will see patients Monday thru Friday in our Select Sports Center of Excellence. We do have plenty of interaction and access to ortho pts but sports is our passion. All clinic staff are part of the new Program of Excellence (POE) program with close connection to athletes and ATs from field to clinic care. This program is offered National Wide to only a select few team of healthcare providers. Our facility has great relationships with local athletic trainers and sports organizations. We participate in onsite weekly clinics, 1-3x month teaching labs with McKinney ISD, and continually take students and observers. Therapists have access to Throwing/Activity net (enclosed area), Kettle Bells, Sandbag, QuickBoard, blood flow restriction, TPDN, etc. A strong mentor plan/program is started at hire date and will be 6months in the clinic along with all available programs through BSW. The ideal candidate has experience treating athletes, concussion treatment protocol experience, as well as intent to build on certifications/specialties.
Salary range: $80,080.00 - $108,804.80
Compensation depends upon candidate’s years of experience

Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist at one of our Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities, you will work with a team of clinicians. Together we will help our patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessmentPatient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a dayTimely and accurate documentation using Therapy SourceInterpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reportsEnsuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accuratelyPromoting continuous quality improvementInstructing and counseling patients/families as needed Qualifications
.Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
.Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
