The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers therapeutic procedures in physical medicine and rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring physician. This role establishes individualized physical therapy goals, provides treatments, and regularly reassesses patient progress, documenting all findings accurately.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required 0-2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, therapeutic techniques, and safety standards. Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and develop effective treatment plans. Proficiency in using therapy equipment and technology for documentation and billing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and maximize productivity. Commitment to professional development and adherence to ethical and legal standards.Licenses and Certifications
PT - Physical Therapist license in the state of employment required BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire requiredThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship now or in the future. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
