Department: Physical Therapy- Novi

CONTINGENT - Day shift  -7:30am-4:00pm- Acute Care Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.  Minimum Shift Requirements:  Two Weekend Shifts per month; Two Holiday Shifts and Two Hard-to-fill days per year required.
Not Mandated, but more available shifts as follows:   Possible weekday shifts to cover for vacations/LOAs.   Possible weeknight shifts available to cover busy elective surgical schedule.

Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.

Responsibilities:

Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition. Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family. Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient. Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. BLS Provider through the American Heart Association required Current State of Michigan Licensure- Physical Therapy  Prefer at least 3 years hospital-based therapy experience.
