Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: NovaCare in Owings Mills MD
Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri) some evenings until 7P
Compensation: starting at $30/hour
NovaCare in Owings Mills MD is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is perfect for a licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. New graduates are welcome to apply. You must have your MD license to start. Our large team treats a diverse population offering a variety of specialty services to include; neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports, amputees, oncology (ReVital), pelvic health (CoreVia), FCEs, a Fall prevention and ACL program on top of general orthopedics.
We have several outpatient locations throughout Carroll and adjacent Baltimore County open for steady part time or as needed / per diem coverage.

Responsibilities Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and proceduresMaintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant programPassed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTEValid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)CPR certification
