Evaluates and provides therapy to individuals with impairments in ambulation, stair climbing, transfers, bed mobility, balance, joint range of motion, strength, coordination, and endurance level. Understand and can adjust treatment plans according to the motor development stages. Possess the ability to coordinate physician, therapist, patient, and family goals into an appropriate plan of care. Able to educate patient and family about disease process precautions, limitations, or sensations related to the patient’s condition either verbally, written or both. Demonstrates the ability to efficiently treat patients and document appropriately and effectively.
