Now is your chance to join a team of like-minded therapists on a path towards clinical expertise and passionate care.** **Job Description** **Northern Edge Physical Therapy** has an immediate opportunity for a full-time **Physical Therapist** who desires to join a team dedicated to evidence-based manual therapy. You will provide direct patient care and support rehabilitation activities. You will have access to state-of-the-art movement analysis technology, rehabilitative ultrasound imaging, and other assessment tools. You will be mentored to develop expert-level skills in Dry Needling, Manipulation, movement analysis and more. Responsibilities + Assesses patients and develops and initiates treatment plans based on the evaluation results. + Review the Physician's referral (Prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required. + Provides direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines. + Documents findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers. + Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians. + Completes a written plan of care, develops goals based on evaluation findings, and develops a comprehensive program to attain goals. + Implements physical therapy treatment program and provides essential physical therapy treatments. + Communicates effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies. + Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports. **Qualifications** + Ability to build rapport with patients + Passion to help and motivate others + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Licensed physical therapist in the State of Alaska **Additional Information** What you'll get + **Compensation Range: $85,000- $120,000 Based on Experience** + 401K plus profit sharing, 5% performance bonus for all licensed/credentialed providers + **Sign-on and or Relocation assistance** + Excellent benefits package, including 401k, health, dental, and generous paid time off + Continuing education- Northern Edge PT hosts in-house training sessions throughout the year. + Employee discount plans + Employee Assistance Program (EAP) + Multiple opportunities for professional development, specialization, and leadership + Clinical mentorship -: Work with a talented and supportive team and gain clinical expertise in the most advanced tools. + Family-friendly work environment
