The Opportunity:

We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives. 

 

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Physical Infrastructure Lead, SeniorPhysical Infrastructure Lead, Senior. This position is in support of USAREUR-AF Mission Partner ARN, located in Poznan, Poland.  This position is required to travel OCONUS.  This position is located OCONUS. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Leads physical infrastructure installation, maintenance, repair, and relocation activities for Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs); generators; Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC); electrical power supply; controlled environmental vaults; and cable plants at MP sites, including functional tests to verify proper equipment operation 

Consults with OEMs and uses OEM documentation during performance of duties 

Notifies MPs of any disruptions in service and provides estimate of when service will be restored 

Escorts warranty or maintenance personnel 

Engineers, installs, tests, and maintains secure and non-secure voice, video, data, and RF cable infrastructure according to the National Electric Contractors Association (NECA)/Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) 568 standards and Garrison or host nation standards 

Ensures designs, test plans, and test reports are signed by a Registered Communications Distribution Designer 

Develops and maintains physical cable diagrams and documentation and inter- and intra-facility and building Layer 1 topology documentation 

Ensures cables are neatly run, bundled, and secured 

Installs a Protective Distribution System for unprotected signal lines processing classified information 

Identifies cable, material, and hardware for repair and replacement 

Obtains digging permits via the local command for Government installations and from the host nation if digging is required outside the Government installation 

Enters into strategic partnerships with vendors to support physical infrastructure activities, including for Outside Cable Distribution System (CDS) projects 

Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge for physical infrastructure at the EMITS 2 sites 

Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments 

Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments 

Supervises physical infrastructure teams  

 

Qualifications: 

Required:  

Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to maintain 

BA/BS +8-12 years recent experience 

Certification - - CEH or CFR or Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC or Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated or Training and Additional Certification(s) 

Exhibits extensive knowledge of physical infrastructure systems, including UPS, generators, HVAC, and cable plants.  

Demonstrates expertise in engineering, installing, and maintaining secure voice, video, data, and RF cable infrastructure according to industry standards.  

Possesses comprehensive understanding of cable management, protective distribution systems, and Layer 1 topology documentation.  

Capable of producing designs, test plans, and test reports that meet the approval of a Registered Communications Distribution Designer.  

Demonstrates proficiency in establishing and managing strategic vendor partnerships, particularly for Outside Cable Distribution System projects.  

Displays leadership skills in supervising infrastructure teams and coordinating with OEMs and maintenance personnel. Applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments.  

Functions as a technical expert across multiple high-impact assignments.  

Possesses practical experience in installing, managing, and repairing IT site physical infrastructure, such as UPS, generators, HVAC, and cable plants.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$64,700 - $135,700
