We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in West Long Branch. This role involves working with a low volume of 15-20 patients per day, primarily focusing on oncology or chemotherapy patients who may require more complex blood draws.
ResponsibilitiesPerform phlebotomy tasks including blood draws and specimen collection.Enter patient requisitions into the computer system.Process specimens using a centrifuge.Provide excellent customer service to patients, ensuring their comfort and confidence during procedures.
Essential SkillsPhlebotomy certificationProficiency in blood draw techniquesAt least 1 year of experience in phlebotomyAbility to confidently communicate in English
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with geriatric or oncology patients is preferredFamiliarity with laboratory procedures and specimen processingAbility to work with pediatric patients is a plus
Work Environment
The role operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The position involves working in a clinical setting with a focus on providing compassionate care to patients undergoing challenging treatments.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00/hr.
