Job Title: Phlebotomist Job Description We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in West Long Branch. This role involves working with a low volume of 15-20 patients per day, primarily focusing on oncology or chemotherapy patients who may require more complex blood draws. Responsibilities + Perform phlebotomy tasks including blood draws and specimen collection. + Enter patient requisitions into the computer system. + Process specimens using a centrifuge. + Provide excellent customer service to patients, ensuring their comfort and confidence during procedures. Essential Skills + Phlebotomy certification + Proficiency in blood draw techniques + At least 1 year of experience in phlebotomy + Ability to confidently communicate in English Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with geriatric or oncology patients is preferred + Familiarity with laboratory procedures and specimen processing + Ability to work with pediatric patients is a plus Work Environment The role operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The position involves working in a clinical setting with a focus on providing compassionate care to patients undergoing challenging treatments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Long Branch, New Jersey. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00/hr.
