Job Title: Phlebotomist - Sun City Job Description We are seeking skilled phlebotomists to join our team in Sun City, where you will be required to draw patients' blood and perform specimen processing in a doctor's office setting. This role is vital for ensuring the accurate collection and receipt of biological specimens, their proper entry into the computer system, and preparation for analytical testing. Responsibilities + Collect and receive biological specimens into the department. + Ensure proper entry of specimens into the company's computer system. + Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute specimens to the correct analytical area. + Perform specified analytical testing as assigned. + Follow the guidelines of the Code of Conduct. Essential Skills + 1 or more years of prior phlebotomy experience required. + Proficiency in blood draw and specimen collection. + Experience in specimen processing and patient care. + Comfortable working independently. + GED or High School Diploma required. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with laboratory equipment and processes. + Ability to collaborate with medical assistants and physicians. Work Environment You will work full-time day shifts from Monday to Friday at a doctor's office located at 14670 N Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ. The environment involves drawing blood from the physician's patients and working closely with medical assistants. There is ample opportunity for growth within the company, with potential for promotion to a Phlebotomy Tech 2 position after six months, which includes a pay increase. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sun City, Arizona. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
