Phlebotomist - Specimen Processing - 32 hrs - 2 - 10:30 pm
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Evening Shift **Description:** Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center, Lab Hartford CT 32 hrs, Evening Shift You would be responsible to obtain blood specimens, to process laboratory specimens for clinical analysis and to provide patient information to the appropriate care giver. Position will cover Inpatient, ER, Mt Sinai and processing area. Your work is vital to the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients. **What will you do:** + Properly identifies patient per policy and performs venipuncture using standard/butterfly methods + Labels all specimens following laboratory policy + Receives/cancels/orders and processes laboratory/microbiology specimens + Position will cover Inpatient, ER, Mt Sinai and processing area **Work Hours/Shift:** + 2nd shift 32 hours 2-1030 pm, rotating weekends and holidays.
