Phlebotomist/Patient Care Representative
Full Time, First Shift
Job Description:
Performs venipunctures, finger sticks, IV catheter placement/removal, and collects appropriate specimen for each test. Accurately identifies outpatient using proper two patient identifiers.
Job Duties:
Performs insertion for IV access for contrasted imaging exams.Performs venipunctures and capillary collections and collects appropriate specimen for each test.Performs point of care testing and follows all patient safety and specimen collection protocols without variance.Verifies patient information using 2 identifiers and verifies collection of information/imaging orders.Instruct patient for proper dressing/gowning dependent on type of imaging ordered.Requirements:
High School Diploma/GEDDriver’s LicensePreferred Requirements:
Phlebotomy training program or ASCP certification (American Society for Clinical Pathology) is preferredBenefits:
