Description:

Position Summary: 

This is a per diem day shift position supporting the lab as a liaison between the laboratory and customers.  Manages the phlebotomy front desk, receive and process all laboratory specimens routed through the laboratory front desk and other offices, outpatient areas.  Ensure appropriateness of each specimen (e.g. proper collection and labeling). Reject a specimen not meeting acceptable collection requirements.  Monitor and manage supply inventory, ordering, replenishing stock and notifying supervisor of any shortages.

What you will need:

High School diploma or equivalent required
Graduate of an approved Phlebotomy program and/or a minimum of one year phlebotomy experience in an acute care hospital Excellent customer service and organizational skills
