Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team in Jersey City. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience working as a phlebotomist in an internal medicine office setting, primarily dealing with adult patients. This role requires excellent bedside manner as it involves working in a high-profile account with a high volume of patients.
Responsibilities
Perform blood draws using straight needles, handling a high volume of patients daily.Process samples after blood draws, including centrifuge operations.Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.Adapt to weekly changing shifts and handle schedule changes as needed in emergency situations.Essential Skills
1-2 years of phlebotomy experience in an internal medicine or doctor's office.Proficiency in using straight needles for blood draws.Experience with centrifuge for sample processing.Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain a good bedside manner.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Phlebotomy certification.Experience with pediatric patients is a plus.Familiarity with laboratory procedures and medical environments.Work Environment
The role involves working in a dynamic medical setting with a flexible schedule. Hours include Monday and Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, Tuesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 8:30 PM, and alternating Saturdays from 9 AM to 2 PM. The position requires adaptability to changing shifts and occasional schedule adjustments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jersey City, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00/hr.
