We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist for a float position throughout Mercer County. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, capable of handling high-volume and high-stress environments, and proficient in dealing with both geriatric and pediatric patients. This role involves working with various specialty practices and processing a wide range of samples.
ResponsibilitiesTravel throughout Mercer County using personal vehicle.Perform phlebotomy duties including blood draws and sample collection for both pediatric and geriatric patients.Process a variety of samples, including blood and pap smears.Handle high-volume and high-stress situations efficiently.Utilize straight needles more frequently than butterfly needles.Maintain flexibility with shifts that change weekly and may adjust on short notice.Provide exceptional customer service.
Essential SkillsPhlebotomy experience, with at least 1+ years in pediatrics preferred.Proficiency with straight needles.Phlebotomy certification.Strong customer service skills.
Additional Skills & QualificationsBilingual in Spanish is preferred.Experience in a laboratory or medical setting is advantageous.
Work Environment
The position requires availability from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM, with the possibility of working 8-hour shifts during Saturdays and Sundays as needed. The candidate must be flexible with weekly shift changes and have the ability to adapt to emergency situations. The dress code and professional attire are required in accordance with healthcare standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00/hr.
