About The Job:
With excellent customer service skills, the phlebotomist collects blood, urine, and DNA specimens from patients for testing in the Emergency Department . Also performs point-of-care laboratory tests.
What we are looking for:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program or medical training is preferred.
Completion of a Phlebotomy Technician Certification program is preferred.
Experience:
Previous phlebotomy experience preferred.
Special Skills and Competencies:
Must have excellent customer service skills
Ability to make sound, independent decisions.
