Join the lab team in providing exceptional patient care and gain valuable medical skills while playing a critical part in our patients’ diagnoses. Start your career with us and make a difference in our patients’ journey to recovery!

Schedule:
· 7 days on/7 days off from Thursday-Wednesday 9:30pm-7:15am
· No phlebotomy experience or certification required. On-the-job training full-time for 5-6 weeks.
Duties include:
· Prepping & performing phlebotomy on children up to elderly patients
· Preparing samples for pickup
· Maintain appropriate supplies inventory
· Charting blood draws

Uses equipment to collect samples of blood and other fluids from patients; explains procedures to patients and collects information from them in a professional manner.

Job Description

Collects and manages samples of blood and specimens from patients; ensures patient safety during the sample collection process. Records and documents patient information accurately. Follows all standard procedures and safety regulations; deploys asepsis techniques during phlebotomy procedures. Communicates with patients, collecting their health information and answering their questions regarding phlebotomy procedures.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent required.


Previous work experience in a medical setting is beneficial. Basic knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology.


BLS training required.
