Job Title: Phlebotomist Prescott

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team, responsible for drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing in a doctor's office setting. The role involves the collection and receipt of biological specimens, accurate entry into our computer system, preparation for analytical testing, and distribution to the proper analytical area. This position also includes performing specified analytical testing as assigned, all in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

Draw blood from patients and perform specimen processing.Collect and receive biological specimens and ensure proper entry into the computer system.Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the correct analytical area.Manage both pre and post aspects of analytical testing.Perform specified analytical testing as required.

Essential Skills

At least 1 year of prior phlebotomy experience (donor, plasma, and MA phlebotomy does not qualify).Comfortable working independently.Proficiency in blood draw, specimen collection, laboratory operations, and patient care.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

GED or High School Diploma required.Previous employment history will be considered, but rehires must have left the company over 6 months ago and on good terms.

Work Environment

The position is located in Prescott, Arizona and operates from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The work environment is a doctor's office where you will draw blood from the physician's patients and collaborate closely with medical assistants. The organization offers opportunities for growth, including a career ladder to advance to Phlebotomy Technician 2 after six months, with a 4% pay increase. The company values internal promotions for leadership roles.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prescott, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
