Job Title: Phlebotomist Job Description We are seeking skilled phlebotomists to draw patients' blood and perform specimen processing in an IOP setting. This role involves the collection and receipt of biological specimens, proper entry into the computer system, preparation for analytical testing, and distribution to the appropriate analytical areas. You will follow the guidelines of the Code of Conduct and perform specified analytical testing as assigned. Responsibilities + Draw blood and collect specimens from patients. + Process and prepare samples for analytical testing. + Ensure accurate entry of specimen data into the computer system. + Distribute specimens to the correct analytical areas. + Perform pre and post aspects of analytical testing. Essential Skills + 1-2 years of prior phlebotomy experience (donor and MA experience not applicable). + Proficiency in blood draw and specimen collection. + Experience in laboratory and specimen processing. + Patient care skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + GED or High School Diploma required. Work Environment This position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position involves working in a collaborative environment with multiple medical assistants. There is potential for the role to become permanent. The company provides ample growth opportunities with a career ladder available after 6 months, allowing for promotion to a Phlebotomy Technician 2 with a 4% pay increase. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, Arizona. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
