Phlebotomist
A large University in Arizona is seeking a phlebotomist with skilled IV experience to join their clinical research team. Ideally, this individual should be confident with IV placements, have experience with standard venipuncture procedures, and be comfortable working with pediatric patients. You should be able to demonstrate both clinical precision and consistency in high-volume settings. You will be responsible for performing IV insertions frequently within a range of participant populations (adult, pediatric, geriatric). In this role, you will label and process blood specimens for laboratory testing as well as maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation. You will be providing customer service to ensure all patients/ volunteers feel comfortable. You will also be asked to assist with other laboratory duties as needed.
