Job Title: Mobile Phlebotomist

Job Description

This position involves traveling to multiple offsite locations to collect blood specimens for diagnostic testing. We are seeking an individual who is proficient in phlebotomy, comfortable working independently, and dedicated to providing patient-focused care in community settings.

ResponsibilitiesPerform venipuncture and specimen collection at designated offsite locations following safety and procedural standards.Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of specimens for proper processing.Safely store and transport specimens to maintain sample integrity.Deliver empathetic, high-quality service to patients across diverse environments.Coordinate scheduling and routing to optimize timely collections.Keep phlebotomy equipment and vehicle clean and organized.Essential SkillsProficiency in phlebotomy and blood draw techniques.Phlebotomy certification.Strong customer service skills.Experience in laboratory settings.Ability to draw blood and collect specimens accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program.At least one year of phlebotomy experience preferred, especially in mobile or outpatient settings.Valid Connecticut driver’s license with a clean driving record.Reliable transportation (vehicle or mileage reimbursement available).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.Work Environment

The role requires working a schedule between 5am-2pm, with travel to different client sites. The work environment involves working independently and adapting to different community settings.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
