Part-Time Phlebotomist – Oak Ridge, TN

We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team in Oak Ridge, TN on a part-time basis. If you’re passionate about patient care and have a steady hand for venipuncture, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Overview

As a Phlebotomist, you’ll be responsible for performing venipuncture and skin punctures in accordance with established protocols to collect high-quality specimens for clinical testing. You’ll ensure proper specimen handling and documentation to support accurate diagnostic results. This role also includes clerical duties such as receiving, identifying, accessioning, and processing specimens.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform phlebotomy and skin punctures following clinical protocolsCollect and handle specimens to preserve integrity and viabilityAccurately label and process specimens for laboratory testingMaintain patient confidentiality and ensure a positive experienceSupport clerical tasks including data entry and specimen trackingCollaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and accurate resultsRequired SkillsPhlebotomyVenipunctureSpecimen collectionMedical office supportPreferred QualificationsCompletion of a Phlebotomy Training ProgramASCP Certification (preferred but not required)Strong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeHigh attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentTeam-oriented mindsetExperience LevelIntermediate – Ideal candidates will have prior experience in phlebotomy and clinical specimen handling.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
