Part-Time Phlebotomist – Oak Ridge, TN
We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team in Oak Ridge, TN on a part-time basis. If you’re passionate about patient care and have a steady hand for venipuncture, we’d love to hear from you.
Job Overview
As a Phlebotomist, you’ll be responsible for performing venipuncture and skin punctures in accordance with established protocols to collect high-quality specimens for clinical testing. You’ll ensure proper specimen handling and documentation to support accurate diagnostic results. This role also includes clerical duties such as receiving, identifying, accessioning, and processing specimens.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform phlebotomy and skin punctures following clinical protocols
+ Collect and handle specimens to preserve integrity and viability
+ Accurately label and process specimens for laboratory testing
+ Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a positive experience
+ Support clerical tasks including data entry and specimen tracking
+ Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and accurate results
Required Skills

+ Medical office support
Preferred Qualifications
+ Completion of a Phlebotomy Training Program
+ ASCP Certification (preferred but not required)
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office
+ High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
+ Team-oriented mindset
Experience Level
+ Intermediate – Ideal candidates will have prior experience in phlebotomy and clinical specimen handling.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
