Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable phlebotomist to join our busy patient service center. You will be responsible for performing blood draws on site, handling data entry, specimen processing, and preparing labs for shipment. The facility accommodates approximately 100-150 patients daily, and you should be comfortable with managing 30-40 draws independently. This position offers a great opportunity for growth, rotating between front desk duties, patient services, and various testing procedures. Ideal candidates should have hospital or outpatient lab experience.

ResponsibilitiesPerform blood draws on site for a busy patient service center.Manage data entry, specimen processing, and lab shipment preparation.Administer a full menu of testing procedures.Rotate between front desk, patient service, and other testing areas.Work independently, handling 30-40 draws daily without assistance.Essential SkillsProficiency in phlebotomy and blood draws.Experience in venipuncture.Graduate of a phlebotomy school or program preferred.Minimum of 6 months clinical phlebotomy experience required.Additional Skills & QualificationsPhlebotomy certification is a plus but not required.Hospital or outpatient lab experience strongly preferred.Knowledge of testing menu is preferred.Plasma experience should be complemented by traditional phlebotomy experience.Work Environment

The work environment includes wearing scrubs, closed-toe shoes, and lab coats provided by the facility. The schedules for each site are tracked, and you will be part of a thriving national outpatient setting, gaining valuable experience and long-term opportunities. The sites vary in patient volume, offering busy and well-supported settings ideal for trainees. Position locations include Salt Lake City, Holladay, Bountiful, Saratoga Springs, Draper, and Provo.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.75/hr.
