Job Title: Phlebotomist

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated phlebotomists to join our team, responsible for drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing in a doctor's office setting. This role involves the collection and receipt of biological specimens, proper entry into the computer system, preparation of samples for analytical testing, and distribution to the correct analytical area. The position includes responsibilities both before and after analytical testing, along with performing specified analytical tests as assigned.

ResponsibilitiesDraw blood and collect specimens from patients.Process and manage the receipt of biological specimens into the department.Ensure accurate entry of specimen data into the company's computer system.Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the appropriate analytical area.Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.Adhere to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.Essential SkillsProficiency in blood draw and specimen collection.Experience with laboratory and phlebotomy procedures.Competency in specimen processing and patient care.Additional Skills & Qualifications2-3 years of prior phlebotomy experience required.High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.Work Environment

This role will be based in Scottsdale at a Rheumatology office. The working hours are TBD but will be approximately Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM. You will be working closely with medical assistants and will be responsible for drawing blood from the physician's patients. The company provides opportunities for growth and advancement, including the potential to move up to Phlebotomy Technician 2 after six months, which includes a 4% pay increase. The company encourages internal promotions for leadership roles.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
