Description:

We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our team in Cumming, GA. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate and professional collection of specimens, supporting high-quality patient care and laboratory efficiency. You will assist with various lab duties, training, troubleshooting, and workflow improvement while delivering outstanding patient service.

Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures with professionalism and careCollect, label, and process blood, urine, and other specimens according to established protocolsCentrifuge, split, freeze, and package specimens for transport while maintaining sample integrityAccurately match requisition forms to specimen tubesUpdate patient information and record routine maintenance and decontamination proceduresUnderstand and follow all physician ordersEnsure compliance with OSHA and DEP regulationsProvide clear and courteous explanations to patients during proceduresDemonstrate technique with straight and/or butterfly needles

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of phlebotomy experienceStrong understanding of specimen handling and processing protocolsExcellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr.
