Description:
We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our team in Cumming, GA. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate and professional collection of specimens, supporting high-quality patient care and laboratory efficiency. You will assist with various lab duties, training, troubleshooting, and workflow improvement while delivering outstanding patient service.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures with professionalism and care
+ Collect, label, and process blood, urine, and other specimens according to established protocols
+ Centrifuge, split, freeze, and package specimens for transport while maintaining sample integrity
+ Accurately match requisition forms to specimen tubes
+ Update patient information and record routine maintenance and decontamination procedures
+ Understand and follow all physician orders
+ Ensure compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations
+ Provide clear and courteous explanations to patients during procedures
+ Demonstrate technique with straight and/or butterfly needles
Requirements:
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience
+ Strong understanding of specimen handling and processing protocols
+ Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr.
