Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to perform blood draws at a busy patient service center. The facility accommodates approximately 100-150 patients daily. You should be comfortable with independently handling 30-40 draws a day, along with data entry, specimen processing, and preparing labs for shipment. This role offers an opportunity for growth in a dynamic environment.

ResponsibilitiesPerform blood draws independently for 30-40 patients daily.Conduct data entry and specimen processing.Prepare labs for shipment.Administer a full menu of testing.Rotate between front desk, patient service, and testing duties.Essential SkillsPhlebotomy experience with a minimum of 6 months in a clinical setting.Experience in hospital or outpatient lab preferred.Proficiency in venipuncture and blood draws.Graduate of a phlebotomy school or program preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsPhlebotomy certification is a plus, but not required.Plasma experience should be complemented with traditional phlebotomy experience.Familiarity with testing menu is advantageous.Work Environment

The position is located in a national outpatient setting, offering a long-term opportunity to gain experience. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Appropriate attire includes scrubs and closed-toe shoes, with lab coats provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.75/hr.
