Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist with over 2 years of recent experience in phlebotomy. The ideal candidate will possess strong straight needle skills and demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and excellent communication abilities. Familiarity with various color tubes and associated tests is advantageous.
ResponsibilitiesPerform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge specimens, record maintenance data, and perform decontamination.Update patient information as needed.Collect and store specimens following established procedures.Clearly and courteously explain the venipuncture and specimen collection processes to patients.Demonstrate techniques using straight needles and butterfly needles.Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens according to test order.Ensure all test requisitions or computer labels are 100% correct against the script.Package specimens for transport.Store specimen samples at the required temperature and place samples in appropriate collection containers or tubes.Accurately label specimens and follow procedures specific to the protocol necessary for transport to maintain specimen integrity.Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with every other Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PMPlease apply to this posting for immediate consideration!#lpn25Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
