Phlebotomist
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Inpatient Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will:

Draw blood samples from patients (fingers, heels, or veins) using aseptic techniques.Ensure accurate collection of the correct type and amount of specimen.Document all requests and accurately release lab work results.Notify physicians promptly of released lab results.Manage appropriate routing, handling, and processing of various medical specimens.Order, distribute, and maintain stock of supplies as needed.Train and provide performance feedback for other lab assistants.Handle a daily patient load of 60–80 individuals with efficiency and care.Required SkillsProficient in blood draws and sample collection techniques.Familiarity with outpatient and inpatient phlebotomy practices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
