Phlebotomist, SAMF Primary Care Magnolia - Clovis, Rotating Schedule Including Weekends, Full Time
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Rotating Shift **Description:** Reporting to the Practice Manager, this position performs patient blood draws and computer entry of test orders. Works effectively with physicians and other office personnel to troubleshoot problems and maintain laboratory efficiency. Responsible for the maintenance of inventory and ordering of lab supplies. Assists clinical lab scientists as required. Position reports to site Office Coordinator. Phlebotomist, SAMF Primary Care Magnolia - Clovis, Rotating Schedule Including Weekends, Full Time Pay Range: 21.00 - 28.26 1. High School diploma or GED is required. Some college, course work in biology or related field is preferred. 2. State of California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT1) license required. 3. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required. 4. One year of related work experience, preferably in healthcare environment, is preferred. SKILLS: •Excellent verbal communication skills. •Knowledge of drug names, both brand and generic, and dosage forms. •Ability to manipulate needle and syringes. •Proficiency with computers and other standard office equipment. •Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks. •Ability to calmly and professionally resolve patient issues with diplomacy and tact. •Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. •Strong organizational skills. **Our Commitment** Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
