Job Title: PhD Chemist
Job Description

The PhD Chemist will play a pivotal role in researching new tests, ensuring standards are up-to-date, and updating protocols and procedures annually. As the on-site expert and technical reviewer, this individual will oversee all tests from the chemistry department before they are transitioned to Quality Assurance.

ResponsibilitiesResearch and develop new chemical tests.Ensure standards and protocols are current and updated yearly.Act as the expert on site, reviewing all chemistry tests before they move to QA.Manage and oversee a team of 5 chemists, monitoring their performance.Assist with audits and participate in required management and leadership activities.Essential SkillsPhD in Chemistry, with a preference for Analytical Chemistry.Proficiency in chemistry and analytical chemistry.Familiarity with inorganic chemistry.Basic instrument usage, with preference for HPLC or TOC.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in inorganic chemistry is advantageous.Work Environment

The position involves working primarily in a laboratory and office setting. This is a salaried contract-to-hire role, offering 2 weeks of paid time off and paid holidays during the contract period.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
