Obtainmedication histories in an accurate, professional and efficient manner for patients newly admitted to the hospital while in the Emergency DepartmentContacting community pharmacies, outpatient providers, and patient family members to obtain needed medication information and coordinate careComplete assigned leadership roles in departmental projects and programsPerforming basic pharmacy technician duties and more advanced pharmacy technician duties

Required Experience/Specialized Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Certification/Registration:

Current Pharmacy Technician License.Certification by a National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) required within 6 months of hire.Minimum 2 years pharmacy technician experience.

Required Education/Course(s)/Training:

5 years inpatient experience preferred

Required Experience/Specialized Skills:

Current Pharmacy Technician License.Certification by a National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) required within 6 months of hire.Minimum 2 years pharmacy technician experience.
