Position Details:

Pharmacy Technician, under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist, responsibilities include:

 Responsible for the preparation of sterile and non-sterile, nonhazardous and hazardous products. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the facility functioning under Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Cleaning of ISO-classified spaces is completed by the Technician. Inventory control for the BayCare Central Pharmacy is the responsibility of the Technician.

 

Required Qualifications:

High School Graduate or Equivalent GEDRequired FL Registered Pharmacy Technician License1 year - Licensed Pharmacy Tech ExperienceSpecific Skills: Ability to methodically follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); Aseptic technique for the production of sterile preparation.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year Pharmacy IV Prep experiencePharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
