Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy Technician – 1st Shift Pay: $17 – $18.95/hour (based on experience, education, location, and other factors) Location: Onsite in Jeffersonville, IN Schedule: Monday: 8:00am – 6:30pm Tuesday – Friday: 10:00am – 7:30pm Saturday: 12:00pm – 8:30pm Perks & Benefits + Climate-controlled work environment + 180+ days PTO upon conversion + Benefits start on the 1st of the month upon conversion + Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, EAP, commuter benefits, and 401K + Paid Sick Leave (where required by law), other required paid leave, and holiday pay (eligibility applies) Requirements + Active Indiana or National Pharmacy Technician License + Must live within a reasonable driving distance of Jeffersonville, IN + High School Diploma or equivalent + Previous pharmacy experience + Basic math, reading, and writing skills 1. Medication Dispensing 1. Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing 2. Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders 3. Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity (including opening large quantities of bottles/cases) 4. Ensure correct labeling and patient-use instructions 5. Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area 2. Inventory Management 1. Rotate stock to prevent medication expiration 3. Compliance & Regulations 1. Follow all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws 2. Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality 3.
