Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves assisting in the dispensing and inventory management of medications, ensuring accuracy in order processing, and supporting daily pharmacy operations.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in the dispensing of medication by printing pick tickets, locating the corresponding drugs and supplies, and inputting the correct quantities, lot numbers, and NDCs into the software.Support inventory management by receiving drugs from suppliers, unpacking, sorting, and recording them into the computer system. Ensure drugs and supplies are shelved correctly and orderly.Participate in the shipping process by using appropriate packaging for refrigerated or ambient medications, and restocking gel packs and coolers.Ensure accuracy in order processing, picking, and shipping.Collaborate with team members to assist others whenever needed.Monitor inventory to prevent expiration or aging, ensuring lot numbers and expiration dates are accurately recorded, and orders are placed on time.Essential SkillsFulfillment experienceRegistered Pharmacy Technician (RPHT) certificationStrong computer skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in retail or mail order settingsExperience as a Pharmacy TechnicianWork Environment

This is an onsite position with working hours from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM in a fulfillment-type pharmacy. Our team consists of 4 pharmacists, 5 technicians, and 3 shippers, working collaboratively to fulfill prescription orders. The environment is fast-paced, with a focus on meeting the needs of our patients and coordinating with FedEx and UPS pickups by the end of the day.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
