Job Title: Remote Pharmacy Technician

Job Description:

As a Remote Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial

role in managing coverage determination requests and ensuring efficient

communication between providers, members, and the pharmacy benefit management

(PBM) system. Your key duties will include:

Review, prioritize, and process coverage determination requests submitted by healthcare providersEvaluate requests using established criteria and document decisions in the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) systemCommunicate coverage outcomes to physicians, providers, and members in a timely and professional mannerRespond to client inquiries regarding authorization approvals and PBM system navigationRefer specialty drug requests to designated vendors or clients for further processingContact providers to obtain additional clinical information as needed to support coverage decisionsMaintain comprehensive and accurate records of all coverage requests and determinationsContribute to a culture of care, engagement, and recognition with a focus on clear, measurable outcomes

Hard Skills:

Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license (required)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applicationsExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting.Priorauthorization experience.Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or NHA).Familiarity with third-party claims processing.

Work Environment:

This is a fully remote position.Must have a dedicated workspace with reliable high-speed internet.Flexible scheduling, including availability for weeknights and weekends.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
