Pharmacy Technician
**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** Posting **Position Purpose:** **This is a part time; PRN position.** + Directly accountable to the Pharmacist for the quick and accurate preparation of drug and related documents for the care of patients. **Position Summary:** + All drugs and documents will be checked prior to leaving the pharmacy; however technicians must strive for accuracy. Sterility of injections must be maintained at all times. **What you will do:** + The Technician is responsible for the proper care and cleaning of the laminar flow hoods and all other equipment, in the pharmacy, used to compound or pre-package medications. + Additionally, the technician is responsible for maintaining adequate supplies of medications by ensuring all items are recorded on the order log. **What you will need:** + **Licensure/Certification/Registration** : Although not required a Pharmacy Technician Certification associate degree are desirable and/or registration as Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). + **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent degree. + **Experience:** Experience necessary to demonstrate competence **Position Highlights and Benefits:** + Day 1 benefits, no waiting period!
