Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Pharmacy Data Entry Technician for our pharmacy located in Orlando. This role involves receiving, transcribing, and entering resident prescriptions into our operating systems. The Pharmacy Technician may also be responsible for dispensing medication, filling, packaging, and preparing medication for shipment.
ResponsibilitiesReceive and transcribe resident prescriptions accurately into operating systems.Dispense medication and fulfill prescription orders.Package and prepare medication for shipment.Ensure high standards of customer service within the pharmacy setting.Essential SkillsRegistered Pharmacy Technician license.Proficiency in data entry.Experience in retail pharmacy and long-term care settings.Strong computer skills and order entry expertise.Additional Skills & QualificationsExcellent customer service skills.Knowledge of health care and pharmacy operations.Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) is preferred.Work Environment
The position is based in a fast-paced Long-Term Care Pharmacy. The full-time schedule varies with shifts including11:30AM-8:00PM, and 2:00PM-11:00PM, Monday through Friday. Weekend shifts are available from 7:00AM-3:30PM and 9:30AM-6:00PM. Applicants must be comfortable working later shifts
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
