Job Description
The Order Entry Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the Pharmacy Manager by accurately entering prescriptions into pharmacy software, coordinating shipment logistics, and maintaining clear communication with customers, pharmacists, and technicians.
ResponsibilitiesEnter prescription orders accurately and efficiently.Prioritize and organize prescriptions to ensure timely processing.Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email.Coordinate shipping logistics to ensure prompt and accurate delivery.Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to maintain workflow.Maintain documentation and adhere to quality assurance protocols.Support compounding technicians as needed.Keep work area clean and organized for optimal efficiency.Complete required training and pursue continuing education opportunities.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Must obtain MN Pharmacy Technician license upon hire.2 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work independently and within a team.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Work Environment
The role is primarily office-based within a facility that produces drugs for the health of food-producing herd animals. The shift is Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential opportunities for overtime. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
