Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves ensuring patients receive the correct therapy regimen by accurately counting and labeling prescriptions. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate drug storage records and conducting quarterly expiration date checks. You will assist in inventory management and support team members to ensure successful pharmacy operations.

ResponsibilitiesAccurately count and label prescriptions to ensure correct therapy regimen for patients.Record drug storage conditions and handle excursions.Conduct quarterly checks for expiration dates.Maintain accurate bookkeeping for daily perpetual inventory.Assist other team members as needed to ensure success.Handle biohazard materials in compliance with OSHA guidelines.Receive multiple drug orders following SOP standards.Perform monthly drug inventory.Assist the distribution team in providing required documentation and accurate information for proper shipments to patients.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in pharmacy operations.Attention to detail in prescription counting and labeling.Knowledge of drug storage conditions and inventory management.Ability to follow SOP standards for drug order receipt.Understanding of OSHA guidelines for biohazard materials.Additional Skills & QualificationsReliable transportation for onsite work 4 days a week.Work Environment

You will be working in a large specialty pharmacy, onsite from 9am to 6pm, including Saturdays. The role involves handling prescriptions and inventory in a regulated environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
