.Job Description: What You’ll Do:
Review and verify medication orders to help catch drug-related concerns early
Interview patients & caregivers to gather complete, accurate medication histories
Document findings in our system and communicate updates with clinical teams
Compound IV medications with precision and adherence to aseptic technique
Refill medication orders and deliver them to nursing units
Conduct routine med room inspections and maintain inventory accuracy
Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other team members
Educate patients and staff about medication safety when needed
What You Bring:Eligible for licensure as a Pharmacy Technician with the Maine Board of Pharmacy (required)
National certification (CPhT) is a plus—but not required to get started
Detail-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and a team-first attitude
Previous experience in healthcare or hospitality is a bonus
Willingness to work flexible hours (weekends, evenings, holidays) as needed
